JUNE 2, 2013

Today is Sunday and we leave here to drive to our next stop.  It will be Cloverdale, Ca  and we will be here for a week.  We got up early so we could get thru San Fransisco without a lot of traffic.  At first we were going to go over the Golden Gate Bridge but we changed the route and we ended up going over the Richmond Bridge by Oakland.  It cost $20 for us to drive the motorhome and pull the car over it.  I wasn't scared for some reason or another.  We were on top and the cars coming into Oakland area were under us.  It was a very long bridge.

 After we got off the bridge there was a turnout to go to San Quentin prison.  Yikes...

We finally got to Cloverdale...We went thru wine country where all you could see forever was grape vines.  It was beautiful.  How do they get all the rows so straight.



 Plus they had these HUGE cutouts along the vineyards that were cool.

 



Then we go thru Gilroy, Ca which is the garlic capitol of the world.  Yummy  Have to hide Edward, don't want him to be in any pain.  hehe

We finally made it to Russian River in Cloverdale, Ca.  It is a nice park, but no Wifi at the sites and no pool.  Had to go to the Lodge to get on the internet.  Hate that, it is a bummer.  We went to Santa Rosa and ate Mexican Food at Chevys.  It was good.  It was our first day in cloverdale and we were tired so we went out to eat came home and went to bed early. 

On June 6th we went into Cloverdale and ate Yummy Cheeseburgers at the Star Restaurant.  They were so good. 



The other exciting thing we did was to go to Ukiah, Ca and go to the Safeway and Walmart.  Woohoo

 

Well, we finally were moving on to the next stop.  We will leave here on the 9th.
