Today we started down the road from Van Horn, Tx. We were going to stay in Deming New Mexico, but we got such an early start and decided to bypass Deming and go straight to Benson, Az. We had already decided to stay a week so we just added a day on to it. It is a very nice park and tonight we will go to the observatory and check out the stars. That will be cool. The temp was 102 when we pulled in and it is HOT...Went to Safeway and Walmart and bought groceries because our food source was bare. Fixing chicken pot pie for dinner. That will be yummy.
